We want to thank you as a congregation for the wonderful farewell you put on this past Sunday. And you said so many kind and meaningful things in the farewell picture album and verbally to us. You showered us with meaningful tokens and we feel so loved and appreciated. It was humbling to be treated with such kindness and respect.
Thank you to the planning team for acknowledging and including our family, and for giving much-deserved honour to Joyce. She has been such a positive contributor to my ministry and it was heart-warming to me for her to be acknowledged and appreciated as well. Thank you!
We are so happy that we are leaving on such a positive note. We feel the door is always open for us to come back and visit. We are excited to see the church moving forward and leave behind a vibrant congregation filled with so many dear friends. We hope that even though the contact will be less frequent that we will be able to maintain a good relationship in the years to come.
May the Lord Bless you richly as you continue the work God has called East Side to do in Swift Current.

We want prayer to be alive and growing here at East Side so we are setting aside a time every Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the Worship Centre for anyone to come and pray, whether it is by yourself or with others. Come when you can!

CALL TO FAST AND PRAY
Sign up to join the church in fasting and prayer for the month of July, ahead of East Side's leadership strategic planning and vision retreat. We are encouraging people to do the 6-6 fasting method where one fasts for the day, but ends it at supper. If you would like a further explanation and teaching on fasting, please follow this link.

Do You Have a Heart for Seniors?
We are looking for a few people to lead or assist with care home worship services! Our commitment to this ministry is just six times a year on Friday afternoons. Responsibilities include: helping lead in prayer, scripture reading and a few songs, sharing a short devotional, and offering encouragement to the residents.

WANTED: Volunteers for Frontier Days - Walking Stick Ministry
Join the Fellowship of Christian Farmers from June 24–27 during Frontier Days as they share the Gospel and hand out Walking Sticks. Volunteers will hand out sticks and engage with the community. Training is provided. To sign up, please email volunteers@fcfc.ca |

Swift Link Summer Meal Program
East Side has partnered with Swift Link to provide meals for The Early Years Family Resource Centre again this summer. We will provide 30 frozen, family-size meals along with 1 dozen muffins for one week during the summer. We will provide the food containers along with instructions. Meals will need to be delivered to the church no later than Sunday, July 26th.
